We cover how to identify your vehicle type, the legal and load-carrying implications, as well as commercial speed restrictions

Adverse & Winter Driving Courses

Winter driving brings a whole host of challenges, even for the most experienced drivers, and the heavy rain and consequential flooding we now experience only add to the issues we face whilst driving.

Many drivers believe that driving a 4x4 vehicle offers them better traction and handling capability, in some cases this is true, but how to identify those conditions and how to, and how not to drive, what settings should I engage and when. All part of a winter skills course and so much more.

Trailer handling courses

While the law may have changed around licence entitlements, the risks associated with towing a trailer haven't, and the consequences of getting it wrong can be catastrophic for both you and other road users. Legal implications of carrying & towing capacities can impact the legality of your journey.

We will look at the legal implications around towing, loading and weight distribution, hitching & unhitching, electrical connections, basic and advanced handling and reversing of trailers.
